On May 7, thousands around the world will grab their drone, head out to a field and fly in the name of "Drones Are Good". Yes, International Drone Day is here.

On this edition of the Drone Radio Show, we take a look at the phenomenon of International Drone Day, why it was so successful last year, what makes a great event and why you should be a part of the experience. In exploring this topic, we’ll hear from Dom Robinson and Jay Turner, of Brighton, England.  Team Brighton organized one of last year's more successful drone days with over 400 attendees.  Josh Newby of Tampa, Florida talks about organizing his first Drone Day and David Oneal of That Drone Show, gives us some background on the origin and purpose of International Drone Day.
