What Are You Afraid Of?

It’s Saturday night, September 23, 2016, and hundreds gather at the Los Angeles Downtown Film Festival. They’re there to see a new film submitted by a local director. The film is about drones. The director is David Oneal of That Drone Show and Wildly Creative Marketing.  The movie is The Drone Invasion.

David and Sarah host That Drone Show, a popular  YouTube series on drones. They’ve been doing this since 2014, when drones were just starting to become popular.  They’ve uploaded more than 400 videos, have nearly 13,000 subscribers and have registered more than 1.2 million views. In 2015, they conceptualized and launched International Drone Day, a day to celebrate drones. As we all know, International Drone Day has become a huge success in connecting drone users across the globe in the common message that Drones Are Good. More recently, David and Sarah formed Wildly Creative Marketing to assist clients in promoting their products and services.  They are frequently seen promoting drone racing events across the country.

The Drone Invasion is a documentary that explores the myths, the promises, and the current reality of drones. Dozens of experts in Drone technology come together on the screen to answer the simple question of "Are Drones Good?"  In this episode, we learn about making of the movie and its impact on the drone industry.
