Samuel Proffitt is a paramedic,firefighter and lifeguard for the Town of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Sam has been in public safety since 2000, working for multiple agencies in North Carolina and Virgina. He received his Masters of Studies In Homeland Security from the Pennsylvania State University, Hershey School of Medicine, where he conducted extensive research in emerging technology in public safety and homeland security. He also obtained his MBA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flagler Business School.
